One of Veniz Tours’ tourism packages includes a Bataan-Subic trip. You might be wondering of the itineraries that consist of the package. Here’s an overview of what Veniz Tours has prepared for you.

Where to go in Bataan?

First stop is the Shrine of Valour in Mt. Samat in Brgy. Diwa, Pilar, Bataan. Also called as “Dambana ng Kagitingan”, this shrine is in reminiscence of the valour of Filipino soldiers during the World War II. A vast land cradles the Shrine of Valour where the Colonnade and the Memorial Cross are also found.

Next stop is First Abucay Catholic Church (Town Plaza, Abucay). It was built through the supervision of Father Geronimo de Belen in the 1600s. This church played important roles in the history of Bataan. Abucay held the Partido de Bataan before Balanga became the seat of government. It is also where Tomas Pinpin was taught of writing and printing by Father Jose Blancas de San Jose and Juan Vera. You will also get to see the Tomas Pinpin Monument in memory of the first Filipino printer.

Bataan is indeed a historical place. If you are planning to have an educational tour, better have Bataan as one of your itineraries. You would not only contribute to the tourism industry of the province but you would also get in return lots of learning from the meanigful history of Bataan.
